Utilizing Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE), it provides corrosion protection for subsea welded joints. The process begins after offshore pipe sections are welded, leaving the joint area bare. The surface is grit-blasted to achieve proper roughness, followed by pre-heating to the optimal application temperature. FBE powder is then applied, melting and forming a uniform protective coating. After curing, the joint is thoroughly inspected to ensure coating integrity and thickness. Engineered for offshore operations, the system offers compact design, remote control capability, and quick cycle times—ensuring efficient application even under tough marine conditions and tight project schedules.
