External liquid EP/PU
External liquid coating protects line pipes against corrosion. There are multiple coating types in single or two-component coating available. These are f.i. liquid epoxy (often topped off by an extra wrap coating), polyurethane (PU), which is an even more mechanically robust coating.
How It Works:
While conveying the pipe through the external liquid coating station, spray nozzles coat the pipe at the required coating thickness, by means of a special metering pump.
The Full Scope:
- Paint metering pump system with spray nozzles.
- Coating cabin with air suction and filtering.
This system can also be found as a part of the external pipe coating plant.
