How It Works:
Laser sensors detect the pipe and ensure it stops at the correct marking station. Then robot arm approaches the product and based on precision sensoric, precisely moves the print head into position. Hereafter the ink marking is applied in a precise, controlled motion, ensuring uniform marking in multiple print strokes (top/down) or in a straight linear line. After completion the print head and robot arm retract to home position, awating the next pipe.
The robot is connected to a data system from where the print text, character type, size can be programmed. In case the robot is connected to Selmer’s SPMS system the print data is added to the pipe production thread
