Due to outdoor storage during the winter pipes get covered with compact snow and ice which needs to be removed prior to load-out. Our solution ensures that the exterior of the pipes will be sufficiently clean of ice.

Ice free is defined as no ice, standing water frozen into translucent sheets, on the in and outside of the pipe. Frost, defined as dusting of ice crystals on all surfaces of the pipes, and fresh falling snow during load-out are excluded from the scope. The worst case scenario is that 50% of the pipe surface is covered with 30mm of ice. And in addition snow can collect around the endcaps during storage which also needs to be removed.
