With radar systems you can monitor protection zones safely even when optical sensors reach their limits. If a person violates the warning zone, this may be signaled by an optical / visual signal, for example. This way, productivity of the plant can always be maintained and for personel the safety function of the area becomes more clear.
Advantages:
flexible protection zone shapes can be created
minimal production disruption
suited for outdoors use, in heavy industry :
thanks to their insensitivity radars are protected against external influences such as dust, dirt, rain, light, sparks or shock.
How it works:
Depending on the size of the area to be monitored, a wide or narrow protection zone can be set up for each sensor. The actual protection zone of the sensor depends on the positioning, installation height and inclination (horizontal/vertical) of the sensor. Sensors are not effecting each other. In addition to the protection zone, it is also possible to configure a warning zone. The sensors are selected and configured through a Configurator that is really easy in use.
- Integrated muting for the entire system or individual sensors
- Restart interlock to prevent the machine from restarting when persons are in the danger zone
The Full Scope:
The safe radar system solution includes, depending on the application,
up to six radar sensors per E-zone ( so we can create flexible protection zones)
one control unit
