Field Joint Coating (Onshore)
The Field Joint Coater (FJC) Onshore is a system designed for efficient and consistent coating of pipeline field joints using Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE). It ensures reliable protection for welded joints in onshore pipeline projects. The process begins after pipe sections are welded, leaving the joint area bare. The surface is grit-blasted and achieve proper roughness, followed by pre-heating to the optimal application temperature. FBE powder is applied, melting upon contact and forming a corrosion-resistant layer. Once cured, the coating is inspected for uniformity and thickness. With fast setup, automated application, and safety features, the FJC Onshore maximizes productivity while ensuring long-term pipeline integrity in demanding field conditions.
