Introduction:
Selmers offers advanced Cement Mortar Lining (CML) Application Systems designed to protect the internal surfaces of pipelines against corrosion and abrasion. The system ensures efficient and reliable application of cement mortar lining, significantly extending the service life of water pipes and various industrial pipelines.
Solution:
Selmers’ CML Application System provides a comprehensive solution for internal pipeline protection, incorporating state-of-the-art equipment for mortar preparation, application, and curing. The system is engineered to meet demanding requirements ensuring reliability and optimal performance.
Key Features:
- Centrifugal spinning method: A lance head that evenly applies mortar to the full internal pipe surface by using high-speed rotation.
- Pouring method option: Low intensity application technique for specific requirements.
- Factory and In-Situ application capability: Various machine solutions available for different applications.
- High-Speed spinning table: Ensures uniform distribution and compaction of the mortar.
- Curing area: Storage of coated pipes in a controlled environment for optimal setting of the mortar.
Benefits:
- Versatile application methods: Available for centrifugal spinning or pouring techniques, allowing for flexibility in coating application.
- Automated process control: Advanced control systems ensure precise management of mortar composition, application speed, and curing conditions.
- Modular design: The system can be easily expanded or reconfigured to accommodate changing production requirements or pipe specifications.
How It Works:
Selmers’ CML system applies a mixture of sand, cement, and water to the internal pipe surface. A lance applies concrete to the pipe, either through a spinning head or by pouring it onto the surface, depending on the requirements and material specifications. The pipe then rotates at high speed, with centrifugal force ensuring uniform distribution and proper compaction of the mortar. In-situ application is also possible for already installed pipelines. After application, pipes are moved to a controlled curing area to ensure proper setting of the mortar.
The Full Scope:
- Cement mortar application system
- High-speed spinning table
- Curing area with environmental controls
- Options for both factory and in-situ application
- Suitable for various pipe diameters and materials
