Transport conveyors for linear pipe movement
Transport conveyors move pipes forward in a linear motion. The conveyor consists of base frame sections, on top of which elastomer-lined diabolo rollers are fitted. Each hourglass-shaped diabolo roller is fitted in two heavy duty, self-aligning roller bearings.
The diabolo rollers of the conveyor are fitted with a slip-on electric reduction drive. The speed in these sections can be adjusted by means of frequency converters to allow catch-up and break-away of the pipes in the incoming and outgoing portions of the conveyor.
